How FloopFloop billing works

FloopFloop uses a two-part billing model: a monthly subscription plan that unlocks features, and credits that get spent on AI actions like building, refining, and rolling back projects.

Each subscription plan grants a monthly credit allowance, and you can buy additional top-up credit packages at any time if you run out.

Subscription tiers

  • Free— A starter allowance of credits, a small number of projects, and access to subdomain hosting. Great for trying out FloopFloop.
  • Starter— More credits, more projects, and increased storage and bandwidth limits.
  • Pro — Unlocks custom domains, larger credit pools, and higher rate limits.
  • Business — Adds team workspaces, API access, and the highest credit allowances.

The exact limits for each tier are shown on the pricing page.

What credits are spent on

Credits are FloopFloop's usage currency. Each AI action costs a set number of credits:

  • Creating a new project — the largest single cost, since it generates a full codebase.
  • Refinement messages — sending follow-up prompts to change or extend your project.
  • Code edits — smaller, targeted edits cost less than full refinements.
  • Rollback — reverting to a previous version.
  • Cloning — making your own copy of a public library project.
  • Reactivating — bringing a suspended project back online.
  • AI Advisor — each Advisor analysis.

Credit rollover

Unused credits roll over from month to month for a limited number of months that depends on your plan. Rolled-over credits expire after the rollover window ends, so high-volume users should aim to use credits in the month they are earned.

Top-up packages

If you run out of credits before your next billing cycle, you can buy a one-time top-up package from the subscription page. Top-up credits are added to your balance immediately and follow the same rollover rules as your monthly allowance.

Upgrading and downgrading

You can change plans at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and add the new tier's credits prorated to the rest of the current month.

Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. If you downgrade to a tier that allows fewer projects than you currently have, FloopFloop will show you a suspension preview so you can choose which projects to keep active. Suspended projects can be reactivated later from their settings page.

Cancelling

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access to all plan features until then. After cancellation you remain on the Free tier and your projects stay in your account.
