Subdomains & Hosting
How FloopFloop subdomain hosting works and how your projects are served on floop.tech.
How subdomains work
Every project you create on FloopFloop is hosted on a unique subdomain: yourname.floop.tech. This URL is live as soon as your project finishes deploying and is accessible to anyone (or just you, depending on your access settings).
Choosing a subdomain
When creating a project, you pick a subdomain in the subdomain checker on the homepage. The checker validates your choice in real time:
- Green checkmark — The subdomain is available and valid.
- Red X — The subdomain is already taken or invalid.
- A suggestion is shown if your preferred subdomain is taken.
Subdomain rules
- Must be between 3 and 63 characters.
- Only lowercase letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and hyphens (-).
- Cannot start or end with a hyphen.
- Certain subdomains are reserved for system use (www, api, admin, mail, cdn, etc.) and cannot be claimed.
Hosting and availability
Your project is hosted on FloopFloop's cloud infrastructure and remains accessible as long as your account is active. Archived or deleted projects release their subdomain, making it available for other users.
